1. Relax on the white sand beach and explore Maya Bay on your own. As you stroll, appreciate the restoration work around the bay, before heading to Pileh Lagoon, an uninhabited national park. Marvel at this enclosed lagoon's bright emerald waters encircled by towering limestone cliffs.

2. Head down to the cliffs and relax on the hidden beach by the lagoon before continuing to Viking Cave. Discover the historic industry devoted to the harvesting of swiftlet bird nests and learn their importance to Chinese culture.

3. Next, visit Monkey Beach. Stop at an idyllic spot, surrounded by nature and steep rock formations, and relax in paradise, surrounded by limestone cliffs. Look around to see the wild monkeys climbing the cliffs, relaxing on the beach, or swimming.

  Early start, perfect no crowds ! Breakfast and lunch included with snacks and drinks .Perfect amount of time at each place , boat immaculate with plenty of space and everything you need with friendly helpful crew!

  To avoid I booked a hotel that offered the option to pre-book breakfast The hotel's address is clearly listed in the booking confirmation I find myself with a room in a separate building 150 meters from the hotel So I won't be able to have breakfast when I wake up (I'm not going to walk 150 meters back and forth outside in the street to get my coffee). When I point out that what I was sold doesn't match the advertisement nor the information in the booking confirmation, they tell me they're using a partner and there's nothing they can do. I can cancel my reservation, but I'll lose the entire amount. It's illegal, it's false advertising and misleading sales, but they don't care at all. To avoid, they're scammers.

  Great day out! Picked up from our hotel and brought to the royal marina where we had a very small breakfast and safety briefing. From there onto the boat and off we went on our journey! So beautiful and the guides were all so friendly and helpful

  Being able to start our trip early was great. The photo package was worth it especially with the snorkeling pictures. Unfortunately my photographer didn’t get any of myself snorkeling, which was a huge bummer. We only got to snorkel at one stop due to the waves. I wish there was a back up plan for a different place to stop! The entire boat staff was so nice and helpful. We enjoyed the ride and snacks. Everything was so beautiful.

  Mr Boi was a energetic and enthusiastic guide. The tour was fun and despite the quick stops they felt like an appropriate amount of time. Snorkeling water was a little rough but well worth it.

About Ko Yao Yai

Ko Yao Yai is a quiet island in Phang Nga Bay, Thailand, between Phuket and Krabi, with fishing villages, rubber plantations and limestone views.

Ko Yao Yai lies in Phang Nga Bay in southern Thailand, midway between Phuket and Krabi, and with its smaller neighbour Ko Yao Noi forms the Ko Yao district. Most of the island's people are Thai Muslims who fish and farm rubber and coconuts, and some keep small homestays. The interior is green hills of rubber trees and coconut palms, with narrow roads running to quiet beaches and villages.
