Drive towards Pangong Tso Lake, which is located approximately 160 kilometers from Leh, and takes around 4-5 hours to reach, depending on road conditions.

2. Enroute, pass through the picturesque landscapes of Ladakh, including the rugged mountain ranges, scenic valleys, and quaint villages. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayas as you ascend towards the Chang La Pass, which is situated at an altitude of 5,360 meters and is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Take a short break at Chang La Pass to acclimatize to the high altitude, and capture some stunning panoramic photos of the snow-capped peaks and valleys below.

3. After sightseeing drive back to Leh and drop off to your hotel.

4. Continue the drive towards Pangong Tso Lake, and upon arrival, be mesmerized by the surreal beauty of the lake. The lake is known for its ever-changing hues of blue and green, which create a stunning visual spectacle. Spend ample time by the lake, exploring the shores, taking photographs, and immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere of the place.

About Leh

Leh, the main town of Ladakh high in the Himalaya, is a Buddhist trading centre with a hilltop palace, monasteries and desert mountain scenery.

Leh stands at about 3,500 metres in the Indus Valley, with bare brown mountains around it and snow ranges behind. The nine-storey Leh Palace, built in the 17th century in the style of the Potala in Lhasa, overlooks the old town, and the Namgyal Tsemo monastery crowns the ridge above it. The Shanti Stupa, a white-domed peace pagoda, has views across the valley.
