• 5Amazing Open Water course with Joe – highly recommend!

  We did our PADI Open Water Diver course here, and we really enjoyed it. The course took three days: one pool day to learn the basics, then two open water days with two dives each. It was just the two of us with Joe, our instructor, and he told us they try to keep groups small. The pacing felt just right: never rushed, never boring. Joe was great. He covered every required skill and patiently answered all our questions. He was super friendly and knew a lot about Koh Chang in general, so we got plenty of good tips beyond diving too. Most of the time we got the skills done pretty quickly, so there was still time left to swim around and explore the dive sites. That made the training dives a lot more fun. The equipment isn't new, but it's in good shape and you can tell they look after it. When something wasn't right, Joe just gave us a replacement straight away. We felt safe the whole time. They picked us up at our hotel (Cliff Cottage). On the boat there were drinks and snacks you could just help yourself to, Thai buffet for lunch and fruit in the afternoon. After the course we stayed for 3 more days of fun dives, partly with Joe as our guide. We went to the HTMS Chang wreck, some coral sites and the national park. All really nice dives. Would definitely recommend them if you want to do your Open Water on Koh Chang!

• 5Perfect⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I made the open water diver here. First i made an adventure dive here for 5000thb including 2 dives. I dived with Markus(German Guy) and Palmy. They made it really nice for me. After this great experience i decided to do the openwater diver license. The price is normally 15500thb, but if you do the adventure dive first you pay 5000thb less(so only additional 10500thb) Markus and Palmy did it great again. I always felt totally safe and understood. It took me only took me 3 days to get the license. Day 1: 2 Adventure dives Day 2: Pool diving and theory in self study(including the exams) Day 3: 3 Open water dives and at the end getting the license So thank you really much Markus and Palmy for showing me the great experience of diving!

• 5Best First-Time Diving Experience!

  I did my OW course at BB Divers with Steve, and he was a great instructor. As a complete beginner, I really appreciated his “monkey see, monkey do” style of teaching… especially after the e-learning, it made transitioning into the practical side feel a lot less overwhelming. He explained things in a simple, straightforward way, made sure I felt comfortable at every stage, and kept everything calm and easy to follow. I always felt happy and well taken care of. The dives themselves were smooth and really fun, and Steve struck a good balance between being professional and keeping the vibe relaxed. Honestly I don’t think it could’ve gone any better. I’m really thinking about doing my Advanced OW diver later in this year, it’s really that good!

  3-day course going over all sections of the PADI open water course. I was very lucky to have Ivo as my instructor. He did a great job by explaining everything clearly, making me feel comfortable during the whole process and correcting me when needed. I can 100% recommend Ivo as an instructor. Thanks a lot, Ivo!

About Ko Chang

Ko Chang is a mountainous island in the Gulf of Thailand near Cambodia, with jungle waterfalls, white-sand beaches and a stilt-house fishing village.

Ko Chang is Thailand's third-largest island, lying off the coast of Trat province in the east, close to the Cambodian border.
