Ablauf
Another thing that makes Ojców special is a legend connected with King Łokietek (Władysław I the Elbow-high). He is said to have been hiding from king Wenceslaus II of Bohemia’s pursuit in Ojców’s caves. One of them, called the King Łokietek’s Cave, with an interesting layout and featuring beautiful karst forms, is one of the most popular caves in Poland.
Hiking from the cave to Brama Krakowska (Krakowska Gate), then along the Pradnik river valley, lunch brake possible (local restaurants or troud farm), National Park centre and the medieval castle.
Beautiful shape of limestone rocks.
The ruins of XIV century Kazimierz Castle visit - centre of Ojców National Park. Great view of the Prądnik River Valley, rocks and hills located around. The Ojców National Park is the smallest national park in Poland. This beautiful place is located only several kilometers away from the city of Krakow. It is made up by an amazing mixture of mountains, forests, rivers, caves, gorges and rocks. There are two historical gems in here, too: the Castles of Ojców and Pieskowa Skała.
A characteristic landmark which can be found in the park is a rock in the shape of a massive club. Due to its distinctive shape it is called Maczuga Herkulesa (Hercules Club).
One of the most beautiful Polish castles called small Wawel or summer residence of Kings. Built in XIV century as a part of Eagles' Nests strongholds, since XVI century in renaissance style

About Krakau
Top-ranked sights in Krakau: Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, Rynek Glowny (Main Market Square), Wieliczka Salt Mine (Kopalnia Soli).
