1. Corinth Canal A narrow canal that cuts through the Isthmus of Corinth, connecting the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Completed in 1893, it allows ships to avoid sailing around the Peloponnese. The canal is about 6.4 km long with steep cliffs nearly 90 m high, making it a popular quick stop for photos on Peloponnese tours.

2. - The Upper Castle (Fortress) Built by the Franks around 1249. Sits at the highest point of Mystras, offering panoramic views over the Sparta plain and the Taygetus Mountains. Served as the residence of the Byzantine rulers of the Despotate of the Morea. Gives insight into daily life in a medieval city.

3. Statue of Leonidas Monument dedicated to Leonidas I. Commemorates the Spartan king who led the famous defense at the Battle of Thermopylae. The statue shows Leonidas in full Spartan warrior armor.
