About Stockton

Stockton is an inland port at the head of California's San Joaquin Delta, a farming and shipping city of waterways, gold-rush history and a university.

Stockton lies on the San Joaquin River where it spreads into the Delta, the maze of channels and islands that drains the Sierra Nevada toward San Francisco Bay.
