5Wonderful experience visiting Munnar tea plantations - with expert guide Mani.
Mani gave us an amazing tour of the tea plantations. He has 4 generations of experience and understanding of tea growing and harvesting behind him. This was an incredibly insightful, immersive and enjoyable experience.
5Great Tea Tour!
My family and I had a great experience with Mari during the tea garden and factory tour! Mari was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and explained in detail the process with which the tea is grown, cultivated, and made in the factory. He answered all our questions in English and took great pictures!
5I recommend !
I had a beautiful sunset walk with the guide Samy, it was a great experience. The team is very helpful and truly cares about their guests. I highly recommend it!
5Wonderful 2 hour walk with Mani
We did the sunset tea plantation walk with Mani. It was excellent, and Mani was a great tour guide - very informative and knowledgeable about all things tea! Highly recommend.
5Great experience
Our guide Ganesh was very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. The view was gorgeous and the silence, once on the other side of the hill, was cathartic. Sadly, we did not see any elephants, only elephant poop.
5Good your! Efficient and clear
We had a wonderful guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, and punctual. Don’t leave Munnar without doing a walk through the plantations.

About Munnar
Munnar is a hill station in Kerala's Western Ghats, where tea bushes cover the slopes and the Nilgiri tahr grazes on grassland above the clouds.
Munnar lies at around 1,500 metres in the Western Ghats of Kerala, at the meeting of three rivers, which is where its name comes from. The hills around town are covered in rolling tea estates planted by British growers in the nineteenth century, and cardamom and pepper grow on the slopes of the Cardamom Hills nearby. A small museum tells the story of the tea industry.
