You will arrive on your own directly to our desert camp in Merzouga. Once you arrive, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the dunes. The dunes are in front of the camp just few metres. About Merzouga
Merzouga is a village at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Morocco's Sahara, where camel treks and desert camps head out among tall golden dunes.
Merzouga lies in the south-east of Morocco, not far from the Algerian border, at the edge of Erg Chebbi, a sea of orange dunes that rise as high as about 150 metres. The village is a scatter of flat-roofed mud-brick and concrete houses, with guesthouses and kasbah-style hotels set along the dune edge. The surrounding landscape is stony desert, scattered with oases and dry riverbeds.
