Visitors will start the day by traveling to the Sacred Valley to the town of Aguas Calientes, enjoying beautiful scenery along the way. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, visitors will catch a bus to take them to the entrance of the Machu Picchu archaeological park.

About Sacred Valley
The Sacred Valley is the Urubamba River valley in the Peruvian Andes, a fertile corridor of Inca terraces, fortress towns and markets near Cusco.
The Sacred Valley follows the Urubamba River, also called the Vilcanota, through the Andes north-west of Cusco. It lies lower than the city, so the air is warmer and the land greener. The Incas farmed the valley intensively, and stone-walled terraces still climb its hillsides. Villages such as Pisac, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo lie along the river, with snow peaks above.
