Highlights
Our catamaran has a capacity of 90 people, but for the comfort of all guests on baord a maximum of 75 people is allowed per tour. It is very spacious and comfortable with open sitting areas with sofas, some lounge beds on the deck, nets with bean bags and private inflatable pool that can be set up when the boat is stopped halfway through the trip. USB dockets available on board to charge your small devices. Unlimited drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are included as well as a freshly prepared snack. From June to October you have the possibility to see turtles as the Murdeira bay is their mating place. From February to March you have the possibility to see whales. Please note that there is no guarantee to see turtles or whales.

Ablauf
The excursion starts from Palmeira, the fishing village with colorfull and typical capeverdian houses. Palmeira is located in the north-west of the island and hosts the main port.
Murdeira bay is the mating place of the turtle during the summer because there the water is calm, since is protect by the coast from the left hand side and by the mountain from the right hand side. The catamaran stops at the base of "Monte Leao" that is a mountain in the shape of a sleeping lion.
On the way to Palmeira is possible admire Serra Negra, the "Black mountain" located in the natural reserve of the east coast. From the the top of this mountain is admirable an amazing lunar landscape, while at the base of the mountains there is one of the wildest beaches of Sal, which welcomes the Loggerhead Turtles during the summer

5a fun afternoon not to be missed
The most fun boat trip i have ever done, the crew were amazing, £50 adults only with drinks and food on board. pick up and drop off from the hotel so all in a total of five hours away from the resort. we had fizz on arrival, then sailed out to sea, we saw lots of flying fish they were like birds that kept diving into the ocean, passed the sleeping lion mountain range and we stopped for snorkelling and a makeshift pool was added to the rear of the boat so non swimmers could safely take a dip to cool off, lots of drinks were offered, beers, wines spirits and soft drinks, and after our swim sandwiches, crisps, fresh fruit and snacks were available (price included in the package) sailing back the crew got everyone dancing. big thanks to Alina and the crew, it was an awesome experience.
5Great half day family catamaran cruise!
The Sodade Crew were fantastic. Alena and the team made sure the time was filled perfectly and safely, ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves. We were a family, including 3 teens, and all had a great time, from jumping off the catamaran, snorkling, dancing with the crew and swimming. Food and drinks provided were ideal and plentiful. Bonus of towels being provided!

It was an amazing experience... me and my daughter will never forget this! Everything is a big 5 stars... crew very helpful and nice. Hope I will do this again one day.

Brilliant day on a lovely boat with a fantastic crew, great atmosphere, food was lovely and the dancing amazing. Only thing I would change is I’d make it longer and I’d happily pay for a longer day Thanks to Alina, Fabio and the brilliant team on the boat thank you
