5AMAZING PRIVATE TOUR TO KINGS CANYON
On our last leg of a road trip in California, visiting Redwoods, San Francisco and Sequoia National Parks, we found ourselves realizing we wanted to see Kings Canyon 2 days before our departure back home on the East Coast. We visited General Grant Tree and driving to it on a winding road with cliffs was not a pleasant experience. After searching online for anyone that would take us down to the Canyon last minute, I found Keifer's Giant Sequoia Tour. As soon as Farrah picked up the phone, I was hooked. She was so nice and easy to talk to. She had not spot open for next day, but she opened one for our group of 4. We agreed on a meeting point and time convenient to both parties. I was hesitant as my 3 companions have very different personalities so wasn't sure how the private tour would go. THEY ALL LOVED IT!!!! Best decision for everyone to enjoy Kings Canyon, as none of us had to worry about driving. Farrah's attention to details was astounding, she had snacks and water for us. Even a blanket to put on the table when we stopped to eat lunch by Kings river. We felt safe at all times with her careful and experienced driving. Her easy going personality, and the knowledge she shared from being a former park ranger made our trip out of this world. Her passion for nature is so contagious, it made the tour more enjoyable. She even stopped and waited as we took a 45 minutes tour in Boyden Cavern. She made several stops getting there and back for us to take photos of scenoc Sierra Nevada, waterfalls, Muir rock, Kings river. We rode on a very spacious and comfortable SUV. We felt on a private luxury tour with the treatment we received. The perfect conclusion for our 14 days trip. I was so happy to have found Keifer's, and would absolutely use them again if in the area.
5Great Experience
We loved having Farrah as our guide. She made the tour easy and very enjoyable. Farrah was professional and knowledgable throughout our tour. We were picked up in an immaculately clean vehicle, were offered snacks and refreshments throughout the tour and were even provided with a gift at our departure. A truly pleasant experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a tour of the Giant Sequoia’s.
5Great Sequoia tour guide!
Farrah was fantastic, she was personable, engaging, and a wealth of knowledge that tailored our time to what we wanted to see, without her we wouldn’t have accomplished our goals for the visit in the time we had. I would do it again for sure
5Fantastic experience
This was absolutely an awesome experience touring the giant sequoia. Our tour guide Farrah was fantastic. She is a former park ranger who knows the park inside and out. She was very knowledgeable and informative. And she took us to some really cool places off of the beaten path. We highly recommend this tour. Tom Q and Terry M.
5Thoughtfully Planned - Well Organized - Flawlessly Executed
Highly recommend booking a private tour with this group. Everything was well organized and our guide proactively coordinated with us about what we really wanted to see/do. We traveled by car but she made sure to incorporate short hikes and walks to break up the driving. She was a wealth of knowledge after spending ten years as a Park Ranger in the two parks. We learned so much about the history of the park as well the star of the show…the Sequoia Trees. It was also very reasonably priced and we never once felt rushed…like you do with other guided tours. The vehicle was a luxury SUV and our guide provided snacks and water.
5The Best 4 Hours You Can Spend in the Sequoias!
If you want a seamless, stress-free, and deeply educational VIP experience of Sequoia National Park, do yourself a favor and book Farrah immediately. We did a 4-hour private tour for our 20th anniversary, and it completely changed our trip. The tour saved us so much time that I honestly don’t think we would have managed to see everything we did in a whole day on our own. Farrah is a wonderful host. From the start, she accommodated our schedule when we arrived 45 minutes early, meeting us ahead of time to get a head start. She picked us up in a beautiful Yukon stocked with cold water and snacks. The biggest perk is that she has commercial access to drive and park in areas the general public isn't allowed to go, which completely bypasses the usual logjams. Her timing was flawless. We started at Tunnel Log and moved to Crescent Meadow for a quiet hike where we lucked out and saw a mama bear and her cub. We climbed Moro Rock next, saving the ultra-popular General Sherman for the very end. By the time we got there, the holiday crowds were intense, making us appreciate Farrah's pacing even more. Farrah's 12 years of experience as a park ranger really shine through—she has a wealth of knowledge and brought the history of the trees to life. Spending the $599 plus a $100 tip was the best investment we made on our trip. Don't hesitate to book her!

About Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park
Sequoia and Kings Canyon are two adjoining national parks in California's southern Sierra Nevada, home to giant sequoia groves and deep granite canyons.
The two parks are managed together on the western slope of the southern Sierra Nevada, rising from foothills of oak and chaparral to granite peaks of more than 4,000 metres. In the Giant Forest, the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree on earth by volume, stands among many other giant sequoias, which grow only on the western slopes of the Sierra and can live for more than two thousand years. Moro Rock, a granite dome climbed by a stairway cut into its side, gives views across the Great Western Divide.
