  1. You will be taken to the lavender lands of Provence when it is in full bloom on the valensole plateau. Stop at a local farm where you can taste olive oil, almonds and smell different type of lavender. Here is the time it will take to get from one place to another

About Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provence is an elegant university town in Provence, with plane-shaded boulevards, fountains, markets and the hills Cézanne painted.

Aix-en-Provence was founded by the Romans in 122 BC beside hot springs and later became the capital of Provence. The Cours Mirabeau, a broad avenue shaded by plane trees, divides the old town from the newer quarter, with cafés on one side and old mansions on the other, and fountains run in the small squares behind.
