3. This quaint coastal town of Mellieha is in close proximity of the enchanting film set of the 1980's movie Popeye. A quick stop at the Belle View of Mellieha provides a captivation panoramic view over the Islands of Comino and Gozo.

4. Mgarr is known as one of the most important agricultural areas of Malta. You will stop for a light snack and taste the traditional soft drink of Malta called the 'Kinnie' at a local bar. Catch the magnificent story of the Church Bell Towers.

5. Finally, you will be drive towards Mdina, where you will be able to see its Main Gate, which has been used amongst others for the TV show Games of Thrones. Not far from Mdina are the Dingli Cliffs, the prehistorical cart ruts and incredible landscapes.

About Mellieħa

Mellieħa is a hillside village at the north-western end of Malta, above one of the island's longest sandy beaches, with sea views towards Gozo.

Mellieħa stands on a ridge at the north-western end of Malta, the last sizeable village before the ferry crossing to Gozo. Close to its parish church, a sanctuary to the Virgin Mary that began as a natural cave has drawn pilgrims for centuries, and the Red Tower, a seventeenth-century watchtower, stands on a nearby hill. At the foot of the ridge, Għadira Bay curves around a wide, shallow beach, one of the longest on the island.
