This largest central park in Lisbon stretches uphill from Marquês de Pombal Square to a viewing platform to the top that offers sweeping view over Praça Marquês do Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade and the River Tejo. It houses the Estufa Fria greenhouse where houses various tropical plants, cacti and other exotic plants.

The most central and renowned neighbour in the historic center where you will visit Avenida da Liberdade (the grand boulevard and location for designer brands, boutiques, restaurants and hotel), Restauradores Square, the liveliest Rossio Square, Praça da Figueira and Praça do Comércio, Elevador de Santa Justa, etc.

An elegant and charming neighbour in the historic center where you can walk through streets lined with 18th-century buildings; where you can browse designer fashions, or visit antique bookshops and cafés that were once meeting places for writers, poets and intellectuals; where you can visit the oldest bookstore in the world and choose to have a coffee at the famous café - A Brasileira - where the poet Fernando Pessoa used to go, and where you can visit ruins of Convento do Carmo, Camoes Square; and much more.

4. Bairro Alto, adjacent to Chiado, is known locally as the party district. It is the traditional area of the historic center with maze of narrow cobbled streets. It is a neighbour where you find historical sights and culinary treats from around the world, the quiet sight of residential neighbour during day time, as well as the lively sight as many of the city’s best bars, restaurants and fado clubs open for business. Some part is best to be visited on foot. You can also visit Miraduro De Sao Pedro de Alcantara, Elevador da Bica, Jardim de Principe Real, Cais do Sodre, and much more.

5. Alfama is the charismatic fado district in the historic center with a delightful maze of yellow cobbled streets, steep hills from Baixa to the Castelo de Sao Jorge. Within the labyrinth of alleys there are many ancient buildings, plaza, shops, restaurants and cafes. You can visit Castelo de São Jorge, the Sé Cathedral, Miradouro das Portas do Sol and much more. Some places are best to be visited on foot.

6. In Belem, west of Lisbon, you will see the majestic Mosteiro dos Jerónimo which took almost a hundred year to complete, and where the famous explorer Vasco da Gama and celebrated poet Luís de Camões were buried; you will visit the iconic Torre de Belém which in the past was a fort guarding the Tejo Estuary and now a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1983; the Padrão dos Descobrimentos monument located along the river and marina to celebrate the Portuguese Age of Discovery. One thing not to miss is the world-famous Pastel da Nata (Portuguese Egg Custard Tart).
