Ablauf

1. The fun adventure starts just 10 minutes from Amber Cove and 20 minutes from Taino Bay in a small village called Maimon. At the home base you will get your gear and a few safety instructions before you head off into the countryside. The tour starts with driving through the small local village Maimon. You will explore the Dominican nature and culture with a stop at an authentic little cigar rolling shack where you learn about cigars, sample of organic hot chocolate and coffee. There is a stop at a local beach where you can go for a swim if you would like to. Please remember to wear clothes that you don't care about, because you will get dusty and dirty.

2. One of our best trips through Puerto Plata, full of trills and excitement, we take you in your ATV through rivers, fields and a natural tropical beach. An incredible 3-hour ATV tour, where you will see Dominican life and agriculture, from nature to the beach, at the end of our trip you will visit Maimon beach in Front of Amber Cove Port. The minimum age for the ATV'S driver is 16 years old

About Puerto Plata

Puerto Plata is a seaside city on the Dominican Republic's north coast, with a cable car up Mount Isabel de Torres, a Spanish fort and Victorian houses.

Puerto Plata sits on the Atlantic coast in the shadow of Isabel de Torres, a green mountain topped with a statue of Christ and reached by cable car. In town, the sixteenth-century San Felipe Fortress guards the seafront Malecón, and the old centre keeps wooden Victorian houses painted in bright colours around the central park. The Amber Museum displays Dominican amber, often with insects trapped inside.
