About Antibes
Antibes is a walled Riviera town between Cannes and Nice, with a large yacht harbour, a Picasso museum in a castle and the green Cap d'Antibes.
Antibes began as the Greek trading post of Antipolis in the fifth century BC, and its old town still sits inside seafront ramparts above the water. The Château Grimaldi, where Picasso worked in 1946, now holds a museum of his paintings and ceramics.
