About Pico
Pico is an island in the Azores dominated by Mount Pico, Portugal's highest mountain, with black-lava vineyards, whale-watching coasts and lava caves.
Pico, in the central group of the Azores in the mid-Atlantic, is shaped like a long ridge topped by a volcanic cone, Mount Pico, which at 2,351 metres is the highest point in Portugal.
