1. The Duomo, in Gothic style dominates the square and is in the center of Ravello. A real “museum” full of treasures, characteristic for its bronze portal built in Constantinople in 1170. Garden of Villa Rufolo, “The Garden of the Soul” enchanted the German composer Wagner, who found in these places the materialization of his imagination. Villa Rufolo was built in Piazza Duomo in 1200 by the Rufolo family, the most important and powerful family of Ravello.
