Day 1: Angkor Wat – Discovery We started the day to visit the important Angkor Thom. It includes many of the finest temples from the time of King Jayavarman VII, who ruled from 1181 to 1220. In the centre of this city is the temple of Bayon, which we will also visit. This temple-mountain, built at the end of the 12th century. About Siem Reap
