Ablauf

1. Our tour to Dalyan begins with a thirty-minute bus journey after we collect you from your place in Fethiye. Along the way, you will also get to enjoy the stunning sight of Sülüngür Lake while traveling on the Dalyan road, which winds through lush forests of pine and sweetgum trees.

2. We get on our boats in Dalyan and go to our first stop, the junction point of Dalyan and Köyceğiz Lake, and pause here for 10 minutes to be informed about the interesting history of Köyceğiz Lake. Then, with a short boat ride, we go to Sultaniye Mud Bath right on the shore of the lake. Sultaniye Thermal Spring / Mud Bath, which has been the oldest and most active bath in the region for thousands of years since the Lycian period, is described as the best among the mud baths in the region. There are several hot water pools here that smell strongly of sulfur, and these pools have many healing properties. When you enter these pools, you will feel like you are reborn, your skin will feel younger and smoother, and you will feel more relaxed and healthy as toxins are removed from your body.

3. After the lunch break, we board our boat again and sail out to the canal. The view of the Rock Tombs from the ancient trade city of Kaunos, which you will see on the canal on your way to Iztuzu Beach, will fascinate you. During a short stop in this part of our tour, we will learn more about the Rock Tombs from our tour guide.

4. we go to Iztuzu Beach, where the Dalyan river meets the sea, for a 1.5-hour swimming and rest break. If you are lucky, you may come across the Caretta caretta turtle, the 2nd largest hard-shelled sea turtle in the world, in its natural environment. Although there is not enough scientific evidence, it is estimated that the Caretta caretta turtle has existed and reproduced in the region for 40 million years. Keep your cameras ready at all times, because you never know when you'll get the chance to take a picture of this magnificent creature!

About Fethiye

Fethiye is a Turkish Mediterranean harbour town with rock tombs carved into a cliff, a bay of islands and a lagoon beach at Ölüdeniz close by.

Fethiye stands on a wide bay dotted with islands, on the site of ancient Telmessos, a city of the Lycians. The Tomb of Amyntas, a rock-cut tomb with a temple front, is carved high into a cliff above the town, and other Lycian tombs and stone sarcophagi lie among the streets. The old Paspatur bazaar and the harbour make up the centre, and pine-covered mountains close it in.
