1. Air conditioned vehicles and open 4x4 on Safaris giving best views and sightings.The full-day safari departs from one of the hotels (where you are staying) in Victoria Falls (a town of 40,000 inhabitants but with excellent hotel infrastructure) heading towards the border with Botswana (a one-hour van ride away) where border crossing formalities are carried out (with passport and international yellow fever vaccination certificate and payment of a US$20 fee per person upon return). You then arrive at one of the hotels in the Chobe region to board a boat (with drinks available "all inclusive" and bathrooms on board). We may see buffalo, elephants, crocodiles, birds and hippos throughout the journey (during approximately three hours of sailing). About Livingstone

Livingstone is a Zambian town on the Zambezi River, a few kilometres from Victoria Falls, with a colonial centre, wildlife and river adventures.

Livingstone stands on the northern bank of the Zambezi, about ten kilometres from Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, the Smoke That Thunders. The town grew after the railway arrived in 1905 and was capital of Northern Rhodesia until 1935. It is named after David Livingstone, who in 1855 became the first European to see the falls, and the Livingstone Museum holds his letters and local history.
