Your journey begins aboard the historic funicular railway dating back to 1893 and continues on the world's unique CabriO aerial cableway with its open-air upper deck. A breathtaking panorama awaits you at the summit: enjoy views of 100 kilometres of the Swiss Alps and 10 Swiss lakes. Explore the 30-minute summit trail and take in the spectacular 360° view from the peak. The Stanserhorn Rangers are present on the mountain every day. If you meet them during your visit, don't hesitate to ask them about the local flora and fauna, the mountain's geography, or the fascinating history of the Stanserhorn Railway – they are always happy to share their knowledge. After your walk, relax in the self-service revolving restaurant Rondorama. Take a seat, enjoy regional specialities, and let the mountain scenery revolve around you as the restaurant completes one full rotation every 45 minutes.

About Lucerne
Lucerne is a compact Swiss lake city with a covered wooden bridge, a medieval wall and a ring of mountains, in the heart of Switzerland.
Lucerne sits at the northern end of Lake Lucerne, where the Reuss River flows out under two old wooden bridges. The Chapel Bridge, with its stone water tower and painted roof panels, dates from the fourteenth century, although it was partly rebuilt after a fire in 1993. The old town has painted house fronts, squares and the twin-spired Jesuit church, and the Museggmauer, a wall with nine towers, closes it to the north.
