The Temple of Heaven, located in Beijing, China, was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped Heaven and prayed for good harvests. It is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture and philosophy, reflecting the concept of harmony between heaven and man. Key structures include the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, and the Imperial Vault of Heaven. It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.
Qianmen Street and Dashilan are among Beijing’s most historic commercial districts, reflecting the charm of old Beijing. With their traditional architecture and time-honored shops, they offer a nostalgic glimpse into the city's past. These streets are also a haven for local snacks such as zhajiang noodles, glutinous rice rolls (lüdagun), fermented mung bean juice (douzhi), and candied hawthorn (tanghulu). Walking along the stone-paved roads, visitors can enjoy both the sights and the flavors of authentic Beijing culture
Tiananmen, located in the heart of Beijing, is one of China’s most iconic landmarks. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty as the main gate to the Imperial City, it has become a powerful national symbol. Tiananmen was the site where the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China took place in 1949. Today, it draws countless visitors each day and stands as a place where China's rich history meets its modern identity.

About Peking
Top-ranked sights in Peking: Mutianyu Great Wall, Forbidden City (Palace Museum), Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang).
