Ablauf

  1. Bayahibe is the meeting point for all participants. From there, we'll board our safari truck and travel to Higüey, the capital of La Altagracia Province, home to around 280,000 residents. In a small group, you'll explore the vibrant local market, discover everyday Dominican life, and visit a traditional cigar factory.

  2. Discover the vibrant city of Higüey and its lively local market, the heart of everyday Dominican life. Browse stalls filled with tropical fruits, local spices and traditional products while experiencing the city's authentic atmosphere. You'll also visit a traditional cigar factory to learn more about one of the Dominican Republic's most iconic products.

  3. Travel through the village of Benerito, a small traditional Dominican community. From the safari truck, discover authentic local life, see traditional homes and experience the everyday lifestyle of residents far from the tourist resorts.

  4. Journey through the stunning Dominican countryside, passing vast sugar cane fields and charming rural villages. Discover an authentic side of the Dominican Republic that few visitors ever get to see.

  5. Enjoy a relaxing moment on the banks of the beautiful Chavón River. Take a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. A traditional Dominican lunch will be served with panoramic views of the surrounding nature. After lunch, we'll board a riverboat for a peaceful cruise along the Chavón River, where you'll admire the area's breathtaking scenery. We'll finish with another swim in the river, where you can have fun using the rope swing and channel your inner Tarzan! After a day full of unforgettable memories, we'll take you back to your hotel.
