1. Australian Camp Hiking also known with local name as Thulo Kharka means a large meadow and pasture grazing land of local villager’s cattle, at the height of 2,050 m high, where you can witness panorama of Himalayan range of peaks. Views includes top of Dhaulagiri, whole massive range of Annapurna Himalaya with majestic Machhapuchare Himal the famous Fish-Tail peaks includes Lamjung and Manaslu Himal. A scenic spot with number of good lodges with fine restaurants to stop for lunch or staying overnight halt in the beautiful surroundings of dense tree lines and mountain range. Day Hiking from 7:30 a.m. or later by 8 a.m. to 01 p.m. or till 02 p.m. with short drive of two hours on both ways: Morning after your breakfast get ready with necessary gear for day hike to Australian Camp or Thulo Kharka, our guide of Transport Hub receives you for an Hour drive beyond Pokhara valley, to start our day hike to high and mid hills of Annapurna Himalaya. Drive leads along with grand views of Annapurna past farm villages and towns and then heading towards cooler hill at Kande village, from here climb lead uphill within serene cool forest to reach scenic spot at Australian Camp also called Thulo-Kharka. Enjoy grand panorama of Annapurna and Manaslu mountains and then descend to another large village of Dhampus, a nice place on a high ridge with panorama of Annapurna range. From Dhampus take a ride back to your hotel by lake side of Fewa with afternoon free at leisure for individual activities.

About Pokhara

Pokhara is a lakeside city in central Nepal, with Phewa Lake and the Annapurna peaks above it, and the starting point for classic Himalayan treks.

Pokhara lies in a valley at about 800 metres, with Phewa Lake at its heart. Wooden boats cross to the small Tal Barahi temple on an island, and the Lakeside district is a strip of cafés, shops and guesthouses. On clear mornings the Annapurna range and the sharp pyramid of Machapuchare, 'Fishtail', rise above the water, startlingly close to a lowland town.
