  Very very good took but was let down by the scam at the end of the tour, had the owner come down after the tour and was aggressive and homosexual towards the group. He claimed someone had drove the buggy without a license and had no proof of this matter. They then charged us $150 off our deposit for no reason and then he also wanted to charge another €50 for the inconvenience. This owner had a very very bad attitude and aggression towards his customers. The staff on the actually tour were amazing unfortunately the owner ruined this tour. Would highly recommend to avoid at all costs.

  It was a different way to see the backroads of Algarve. The buggy was easy to drive and fun. The guide was attentive and made sure we crossed certain busy roads safely, overall and fun experience for us and our adult son and his friend.

  Very close to albufiera old town just 15 min in uber, great buggies tried quads last time but I like comfort lol!!

  i wish i could give this experience zero stars. basically what happened is we arrived for our tour five minutes before the start time. the guy closed the gate on us and told us we have to come back for the next tour. i called the woman in charge of the tour agency. she tells me "okay that's fine. you could come back for the next tour when we get there." she says "no it's not okay. you have to pay a 50% rebooking fee and we were forced to pay another 50% of our tour fee." for the next store we started approximately 15 minutes late. there was plenty of time that they could have put us on the first store. they're using this simply as a way to generate additional revenue. is extremely unethical. the actual guy who guided us on the atvs was actually pretty nice though.

  Pretty good - we only booked for 1 and a half hours but we were talked into doing 3 hours for an extra £40 as they would have had to come back especially for us - feel 1 and a half hour’s would have been better and plenty enough time as the last 2 stops weren’t great as one was at a old castle that you could not get in only just walk around the outside of it and next a tiny cafe with no air conditioning and no running water in the toilets to keep wash your hands or cool down

• 1WARNING: Do Not Book – Operator Abandons Site Early

  Warning to all tourists: do not book this activity. The operator does not honour their own check-in times. Their rules explicitly state last check-in is 15 minutes before the start time, but I arrived before that cut-off and found the gates completely locked up and the site abandoned. They shut down early, pocketed my £86, and Viator is now refusing to refund the money because the operator won't "approve" it. Complete lack of professionalism and a total waste of money. Book a different tour where the hosts actually show up.

About Albufeira

Albufeira is a former fishing town on Portugal's Algarve coast, with whitewashed old streets, sandy coves below red cliffs and a long summer season.

Albufeira was a fishing town under Moorish rule, its name coming from the Arabic for a lagoon, and its old town still climbs a hill above the water in a tangle of whitewashed alleys and arches. A tunnel leads down to the Fishermen's Beach, where boats once landed their catch, and the clock tower and parish church stand in the centre.
