Highlights
The 2-Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari - Starting from Kigali is one of the shortest gorilla trekking tours, perfect for travelers seeking a quicker route to experience gorilla trekking in Uganda. This tour is ideal for those looking to begin their journey in Kigali and trek in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Unlike longer Uganda Gorilla Safaris, this 2-Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda adventure begins and ends in Kigali, Rwanda, with a short 4-5 hour drive. The route includes crossing the border from Katuna to Kabale or from Chanika to Kisoro, eventually connecting to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a lush and protected forest area in Southwestern Uganda.

About Kabale
Kabale is a highland town in south-western Uganda, ringed by terraced hills and set close to Lake Bunyonyi and the Bwindi gorilla forest.
Kabale lies in Kigezi, the hilly far south-west of Uganda, at about 1,800 metres above sea level. Steep slopes cut into neat terraces climb on every side, and the cool, misty air has earned the area the nickname Switzerland of Africa. The town is a market and administrative centre close to the border with Rwanda.
Top-ranked sights in Kabale: Lake Bunyonyi.
