Highlights

This is a unique SCUBA diving certification (PADI Open Water Diver) course conducted over 2 days, with top quality wagyu BBQ offered at completion of the course. PADI is world's largest diving association, and its certification is acknowledged worldwide. The course is conducted in English and/or in Japanese by bilingual instructor Taz. Guests can experience both beach diving (Day1) and boat diving (Day2), and having these experiences under the belt will help you as divers no matter the type or destination of the dives in the future. Also, we take pride in offering a thorough but gentle approach in training, minimizing both physical and mental stress during the entire course. Additionally, lunches on both days are provided, mainly from nearby (and super popular) local restaurants and cafes.

About Motobu-cho

Motobu is a coastal town on Okinawa's Motobu Peninsula, home of the Churaumi Aquarium and a lane of old fukugi trees.

Motobu occupies the Motobu Peninsula, a rounded headland on the west coast of northern Okinawa Island. Its Ocean Expo Park, built for an international exposition in 1975, holds the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, famous for a huge tank with whale sharks and manta rays, along with a beach, gardens and a replica of a traditional village.
