Welcome to Your Skopje one-day tour! During this tour you will be having a Bulgarian guide-driver and while driving to the Bulgarian-North Macedonian boarder you will learn more about the common history of the two states as well as a summed overview of the history of the Republic of North Macedonia. Your guide will make your boarder crossing as smooth as possible and will be in touch with his local Macedonian colleague. On their turn they will provide a nice 2-hour walk along the central part of the city giving you even more detailed, on the spot information, some interesting latest news and will be able to answer your questions. Eventually, you will have the choice to continue strolling down to the fruit and vegetable market or enjoy some of the traditional local cuisine temptations - either at a small non-pretentious restaurant or back downtown in a nice lively atmosphere.
Mother Teresa Memorial house was built not too far away from the place her original birth house was. There you will see some authentic artefacts from Mother Teresa's childhood, learn her early days story and be able to pay respect in the modern looking glass chapel on the second floor. We will take 3 hours and 30 minutes from this time by the transportation in route.
This is one of the symbols of Skopje, initially built in the end of 5th century AD during the ages rebuilt by different authorities, inclusive during the time of the Ottoman Empire domination. Beautiful peace of architecture, the KAMEN MOST neatly connects the new part of the city with the Old Bazaar and while walking across the river the bridge certainly introduces us to what we should await for.
The "STARA CHARSHIYA" still looks quite authentic no matter it is functioning during 21st century - you will take a nice walk surrounded by smaller and bigger shops offering you anything from sweet temptations like baklava to traditional proper size shoes or even a flamboyant looking wedding dress! At the furthest end stays the fruit and vegetables market - rich in any season fruit as well as cheap goods, replicas of famous world brands.
On of many mosques in Skopje, Mustafa Pasha mosque is one unique piece of decorative architecture and even more it is interesting with the dramatic story of the local ruler's daughter.
SKOPSKO KALE - the fortress is proudly standing somewhat above the city and typically gives us a good overview of the large flat area of Skopje and its surroundings. Not a lot has been preserved inside the fort, but it is still quite attractive to look up to even if didn't walk up there.
Travelers will enjoy free time exploring the area by themselves, guide will be able to provide information regarding the places around the area.

Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, lies below Vitosha mountain, mixing Roman ruins, golden-domed churches, mineral springs and a busy café culture.
Sofia sits in a high basin at the foot of Mount Vitosha, and its centre layers Roman Serdica, Orthodox Bulgaria and the Ottoman and Soviet eras. The gold-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, completed in the early twentieth century, is the city's best-known building. Close by are the fourth-century rotunda of St George, the Banya Bashi Mosque and the remains of Roman streets that show through glass in the metro stations.
Top-ranked sights in Sofia: Rila Monastery, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Ivan Vazov National Theatre.
