1. Først kører vi til Üçağız landsby for at få båden. Vores båd er klar i havnen. Üçağız er porten til Kekova-regionen. Üçağız er 30kms væk fra Kaş og 60kms væk fra Kalkan.

2. Dernæst stopper vi ved Aquarium Bay for en svømmepause. Vandet her er meget klart som i et akvarium. Du kan se under havet. Vi tilbyder tyrkisk te ved denne bugt.

3. På grund af et stort jordskælv var byen sunket. Med båd passerer vi langsomt Sunken City. Du vil se et nedsænket hus og cisterne, trapper mm.

4. Vi stopper ved Skibsværftsbugten (Tersane koyu) for en svømmepause. Der er sunkne ruiner, og du kan svømme over dem.

5. Bag øen Aşırlı er der en bugt kaldet Gökkaya. Vi stopper til frokost og en svømmepause. Vi tilbyder en åben frokostbuffet på båden. Du kan smage 5 forskellige tyrkiske lokale olivenolie mezes lavet af kaptajnens kone. Den er frisk og lækker. Vi tilbyder også grillet kylling eller fisk (baseret på dit valg).

6. På øen Aşırlı er der bygget en naturlig hule. Vi ser hulen ved navn 'Pirate Cave' og stopper der for at tage billeder.

7. Overfor Kekova-øen er der en anden bugt kaldet Burç. Vi stopper her for en svømmepause.

8. Vi stopper ved Ø-bugten overfor Kekova-øen for en svømmepause. Du kan nyde frugt på båden.

9. Vi vender tilbage til landsbyen Üçağız med båd og kører tilbage til Kaş eller Kalkan.

10. Vi stopper ved Simenas gamle bydel. Andet navn på Simena er Kaleköy (slotslandsby). Vi forlader båden og har 1 time til at besøge landsbyen. Du kan gå op på slottet eller gå rundt i landsbyen. Her kan du også svømme.

• 5Fantastic private boat...

  Fantastic private boat excursion! We were picked up with a private van at our house in Kas for about a 45 min transfer to the pier in Kekova. The boat was fantastic, large, clean. Nice father son duo that piloted it. Spoke great English. We were on the water from about 10am -5:50 pm and toured around the area, various swimming spots, a small climb up some stairs to this castle on an island. Overall very smooth, would recommend if you want a boat day that is more private than the usual tours. Lunch was fantastic. Some things to note: you do have to provide your own water, soft drinks and alcohol. Our driver stopped at a grocery store on the way. Perhaps would be nice to provide some water. You also need to provide your own towels. You do not actually snorkel on this trip, even at the forbidden city which is forbidden. They did have a few noodles for use in the water.

  One of the best things we did on our 3 month trip. The boat was great, the lunch and snacks were so delicious, the owners are very considerate and the stops were all amazing. A perfect day!

  Excellent experience. The staff were polite and helpful, lunch was divine and the setting incredibly beautiful.

• 5The Highlight of our Holiday

  This was the highlight of our holiday. The boat passed close to several islands with Roman remains which the guide explained in English and Turkish. There were at least 4 stops for swimming in the crystal-clear water, half hour each, and a good lunch was provided on the boat. We also had an hour and a half to visit the village of Kale with delicious ice cream and orange juice. Bit of a tourist trap, but delightful all the same off peak-season.

  We have a fantastic day out in this boat. A series of stops at beautiful secluded locations for snorkelling and swimming. Lunch was very nice. Tea and coffee was served on several occasions along with melon slices. We all really enjoyed it. Very highly recommended.

About Kaş

Kaş is a small harbour town on Turkey's Lycian coast, with a clear sea, Lycian rock tombs and a view of the Greek island of Kastellorizo.

Kaş lies on the Lycian coast of Antalya province, a small town on a bay with steep wooded hills behind, white houses draped in bougainvillea and a harbour of fishing boats. It stands on the site of the ancient Lycian city of Antiphellos, and a Hellenistic theatre and Lycian rock tombs, including a tomb with a lion carved on its lid, survive.
