Please also note that the order of attractions may change or some locations may be replaced depending on weather or traffic conditions.
The Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory is located on the Green Railway, a walking trail created from the abandoned tracks of the Haeundae South Line. It’s a top attraction in Busan, offering views of the fishing village of Cheongsapo, beautiful coastal scenery, sunrise, and sunset. From the observatory, visitors can admire the natural scenery of Cheongsapo’s stunning coastline and view the five rocky islands, known as Daritdol, lined up all the way to the offshore lighthouse. At Haeundae Blue Line Park's Cheongsapo Station, you can enjoy free time. On New Year’s Day, many visitors gather here along with Haeundae Beach and Mipo to witness the first sunrise of the year. Cheongsapo's "Moon Over Cheongsapo" is considered one of the Eight Scenic Views of Busan. The United Nations Memorial Cemetery is the world's only UN memorial cemetery, where fallen UN soldiers who gave their lives for the cause of world peace and freedom are laid to rest. As a UNESCO World Heritage Park, it offers a detailed insight into South Korea's war history. Often called the "Machu Picchu" or "Santorini" of Korea, this vibrant hillside village is a must-visit Busan landmark featured on the Korea Tourism Organization’s "Top 100 Tourist Sites." Originally formed in the 1950s by Korean War refugees and Taegukdo followers, it was once a deteriorated area. However, a 2009 urban regeneration project transformed it into a colorful cultural hub, where local artists and residents filled the alleys with stunning murals and artworks. 5First fay in Busan.
Hee is nice and excellent tour guide. He gave us enough time to explore the temple, the cultural village and UN memorial park . He also provided list of places to eat and visit after the tour. Highly recommended.
3Good tour but beware of expensive lunch spot
Our guide Erica did a good job of explaining the history of major sites in Busan while keeping the tour lighthearted. But our lunch spot was far too expensive - I think our guide could have warned us about the prices (and that the staff will upsell when given the chance).
5Erika was our tour guide...
Erika was our tour guide for the Busan City Tour…we started at 9 and ended around 6. We got to see a lot of the history and culture of Busan. The UN cemetery was the highlight of the day. Was very moving and sobering at the same time, with the history of the Korean war and the many countries that helped with the conflict and rebuilding of this modern country.

Erica did a great job as guide, atent and helpful. The tour saves you a lot of stress trying to traverse the city on public transport.
1I kept telling the tour...
I kept telling the tour guide I’m vegetarian and needed my diet respected at the lunch stop, which turned out to be a seafood place. He promised they had options, so I ordered the veggie fried rice, only to find pork in it. I told him right away since there was a language barrier with the staff, but he just brushed it off, saying he told them and didn't know what happened, without even trying to fix it or get a manager. I ended up paying for a meal I couldn't even eat. It’s obvious the restaurant is a tourist trap working on commission with the tour operator. They just don't care when things go wrong. I’m so disappointed; the whole day was ruined. The tour operator is at fault because they knew my requirements and chose that place anyway. I didn't eat anything all day, and when I asked the guide if we could stop at a cafe, he made me feel like I was being a huge inconvenience to the group.
Busan is South Korea's second city and biggest port, with beaches, hillside villages, temples by the sea and a huge fish market.
Busan lies at the south-east tip of the Korean peninsula, a port city squeezed between mountains and the sea. Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach, backed by high-rise towers, are its best-known stretches of sand. Gamcheon Culture Village, a hillside of colourful stepped houses, was settled by refugees during the Korean War, and the UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea honours soldiers who died in that conflict.
Top-ranked sights in Busan: Gamcheon Culture Village, Jagalchi Fish Market, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.
