Our next stop is a traditional winery for tasting and presentation of Santorini’s local wines. We will step on the ancient vineyard and get interesting info for the special “terroir” of Santorini. About Santorini

Santorini is a crescent of volcanic cliffs in the Aegean, where whitewashed villages and blue domes look over a flooded caldera to famous sunsets.

The island is the rim of an ancient volcano whose eruption left a vast caldera filled by the sea.
