The idea of this tour is to provide an affordable experience where you can visit the best sites in Sintra and visit one of its most beautiful palaces, which isn´t one of the most visited monuments. Not only will you visit a palace, but you will visit two iconic towns, Sintra and Cascais and explore its beautiful coastline and enjoy the spectacular views from the Peninha Convent. Important to mention, during winter or rainy periods views maybe be hindered by the weather.

This is the 2nd last stop to Sintra when you are coming from Lisbon. You must get out on the platform side that heads to Lisbon. We meet by the taxi rank. It is easier to meet here than at the last stop. Then we will take you to all the spots on the tour.

About Sintra

Sintra is a hill town west of Lisbon, wrapped in misty forest and crowned by a Moorish castle, a colourful Romantic palace and mysterious gardens.

Sintra is a UNESCO-listed cultural landscape on the Serra de Sintra, a granite ridge that catches Atlantic mist and keeps the hills green and cool. Portuguese kings and nobles built summer palaces here. The Pena Palace, a painted fantasy of yellow and red towers, sits on the highest hill, while the Moorish Castle's walls climb the ridge nearby, and the old centre has the Sintra National Palace, recognisable by its two conical chimneys.
