Hike and forage in the beautiful and iconic Boulder mountains. We will hike through a mountain meadow, over and by a stream, and make our way up into a mixed pine and fir forest, identifying interesting plants, fungi and wildlife as we stroll. - We will meet at the main trail intersection near the ranger cabin at Chautauqua park. I will be wearing a green hat with a cactus on it and have a black backpack. There are restrooms and water fountains here if you need them before we begin hiking. We will quickly go over a few things as a group.

Boulder is a university city in Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, known for the Flatirons rock slabs, mountain trails and an outdoor culture.
Boulder lies about 1,650 metres above sea level on the edge of the Front Range, where the plains meet the Rocky Mountains.
