Each land mark will be breifly explained by the guide. Short video will be presented at the Tanoor location. Visitors can take pictures.

• 4A ride through history

  We had a great tour of the aqar, if they could at least offer a bottle of water during the tour considering the hot temperatures.

  Nizwa heritage private tour with open electric golf cart for 1 hr max is a must tour in nizwa oman. The guide is knowledgeable and well mannered. Much better than walking blindly for hrs. Try next time

  Excellent experience , I will re-visited again with family .. the hoist was very polite and friendly , gave detail information about the heritage and the history of Nizwa fort .. it was fun as well

About Nizwa

Nizwa is an old oasis town at the foot of Oman's Hajar Mountains, once the capital of the country, with a great round fort and a famous livestock market.

Nizwa stands in an oasis of date palms in the interior of Oman, where the Hajar Mountains meet the desert plain, and was once the capital of the country and a centre of learning and religion. The massive Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century, has a tall round tower, and from its roof there is a view across the palms and the mountains. Beside it lies the souk, where silver daggers, pottery, halwa and dates are sold.
