About Guangzhou

Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong on the Pearl River, is the home of Cantonese cooking, with old temples, a colonial-era island and a tall modern skyline.

The Pearl River flows through the city between a skyline led by the 600-metre Canton Tower and neighbourhoods of older low-rise streets.
