It was an amazing tour and introduction to this beautiful country. Maher is very nice hospitable generous person, we were really enjoying everything from start to the end. Really recommend.

Local understanding of Bahrain! The mosque and fort are highlights but the entire tour was great! Excellent tour!
5Ask for Maher (guide). You won't be disappointed.
Maher (guide) was superb. From regular communication ahead of hotel pick-up to knowledge of the sites we visited. It was a pleasure having a conversation with him including learning about his life story coming from Kuwait, has 22-year old boy/girl twins (as I do!), etc.

About Manama
Manama, Bahrain's capital, is a Gulf waterfront city where glass towers stand beside an old souq, grand mosques and relics of the pearling trade.
Manama sits on the north-eastern coast of Bahrain's main island, where the old gate of Bab Al Bahrain opens into the souq's narrow lanes of spices, gold, fabric and household goods. The Bahrain National Museum on the waterfront follows the island's story from the Dilmun civilisation to the pearl trade, and the Al Fateh Grand Mosque, with its large white dome, is one of the biggest in the Gulf.
