HOW MANY DAYS DO I NEED TO ACCLIMATIZE IN CUSCO BEFORE THE EXCURSION? It is very important to be well acclimatized to the altitude before starting the walk. We recommend that you arrive in Cusco at least 2 or 3 days before the excursion. This way you will avoid problems related to altitude sickness.
WILL I RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS? Yes. We will organize a meeting to explain the itinerary in detail and resolve any questions you may have. This meeting will take place at 5:00 p.m., one night before your departure, in the lobby of your hotel. Or in our office Portal panes 123 interior office 201 Plaza de Armas Cusco
HOW SHOULD I USE THE CANVAS BRIEFCASE THAT WILL BE GIVEN TO ME? The night before starting your hike we will give you a canvas briefcase so you can pack the clothes you will wear during the days of the excursion, as well as your sleeping bag and other items that you see as convenient. The maximum weight allowed is 7 kg / 15.4 lb. We will carry your canvas briefcase, in addition to everything necessary for the camps, on our pack animals. It is important to note that you will not have access to the items in your duffle bag until the end of each day. This is because our pack animals will always advance ahead of the group. To carry other belongings such as waterproof jackets, camera, sunscreen, medication, etc., you can use a comfortable backpack with a capacity between 30 and 50 liters.
CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE IN YOUR OFFICE? Of course! During the excursion, your main luggage can be stored in the storage room of our offices at no additional cost.

About Cusco
Cusco, the old Inca capital high in the Peruvian Andes, blends massive stone walls with colonial churches and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.
The Plaza de Armas is the heart of the city, framed by the cathedral and the Jesuit church of La Compañía. Inca stonework survives throughout the centre, most famously at the Qorikancha, the sun temple on which the Spanish built a monastery, and in the twelve-angled stone on Hatun Rumiyoc street. San Blas, the artisans' quarter, climbs steeply with workshops and cafés.
