About Kos

Kos is a Greek island in the Dodecanese close to the Turkish coast, with ancient ruins, sandy beaches and a knights' castle at the harbour.

Kos lies close to the Turkish coast, with Kos Town on its north shore, where a castle of the Knights of St John guards the harbour and palms line the waterfront.
