3. DAY 3. Time. 4:30 a.m. SAL HOSTEL - INCAHUASI ISLAND - UYUNI - VILLA MAR VILLAGE Beautiful sunrise on the salt flats of the Salar de Uyuni Visit to the Incahuasi island of cacti Fun photo session in the salt flats Visit to the hostel museum of the flags Stroll through the Colchani craft fair Visit to the Uyuni train cemetery. End of the tour at the SAJAMA office in the city of Uyuni. (This day returns to the Villa Mar hostel for pax who have the 4-day tour with return to San Pedro de Atacama, to be at 09:00 am on the 4th day at the Bolivia-Chile border to take the bus from return to San Pedro de Atacama). About San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro de Atacama is an adobe oasis town in northern Chile, ringed by salt flats, volcanoes, geysers and some of the driest desert on earth.

San Pedro de Atacama is a village of low whitewashed adobe houses and dusty streets in an oasis of the Atacama Desert, at about 2,400 metres. Its adobe church goes back to the 17th century and has a roof of cactus wood, and the small Museo Arqueológico Gustavo Le Paige displays mummies and pottery from the desert's early peoples. The cone of Licancabur volcano stands over the town to the east.
