55 wineries + lunch with Jess, the ultimate guide
We had an amazing day. Jess, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept things moving at a perfect pace. Our highlight was a delicious group lunch. We were so happy Jess (our guide) could join us for lunch, she kept the conversation light and entertaining. She also described the pairings of courses + wine. A real wine expert! We opted for 5 wineries. By the 5th, we had had more than enough. Such a fun day. Highly recommend and would definitely do it again. Jess says every tour is unique & different and I can’t wait to do it again!!!
5Fantastic afternoon!
Our guide was amazing - so friendly and knowledgeable. The wineries we visited were fantastic and the winery lunch was absolutely delicious! Picked up and dropped off at our accommodation, great group of people, couldn’t have asked for any more.
5Fabulous day of wine tasting!
We had a great experience on our Classic Wine Tour. My adult kids (22 & 24) went with me. We were able to try wines from 5 vineyards. I really enjoyed all 5 our visits. I drink a fair amount of wine and have been on other wine tours but my kids are new to drinking wine. They liked the vineyards that were welcoming to them (4 of 5) and who were not put off by their age or inexperience with wines. I loved that there was a variety from smaller vineyards to larger, more established vineyards. We had a fabulous lunch (included) with wine pairings and that was a really nice addition to day. Our driver was amazing and very knowledgeable about wines, too. The shuttle/van was very comfortable and the distance between the stops was not too long. I would highly recommend this tour and would do it again if in the Wannaka area.
5Great Host & Wines!
We had a great time on the wine tour and Scott was a great host! He picked us up promptly and had all of the stops well planned out, with the first one just a few minutes away. The wineries themselves were great with down to earth owners and delicious wine! It was just 2 of us on tour that day but we had a great time chatting with Scott. We would definitely recommend it.

Comprehensive, so fun, delicious wines, beautiful food, great way to spend a day in central New Zealand and Otago. Highly recommend!
5Great wine tasting in Wanaka!
This was a fabulous wine tour! Our guide was charming, funny and made the afternoon so fun. The mix of wineries, from uber casual-think a winery in someone personal living room-, to a more formal winery tasting experience made the afternoon interesting and engaging. The lunch spot served the an incredibly delicious lunch. The array of wines was also amazing and definitely enough for an afternoon. The small group experience also made the activity extra enjoyable as we all were chatting as a group throughout the afternoon.

About Wānaka
Wānaka is a lakeside town in New Zealand's Southern Alps, set below snowy peaks, a gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park and the ski fields.
Wānaka sits at the southern end of Lake Wānaka in the Otago region of the South Island, with mountains rising on every side. A path follows the lakefront past the lone willow that stands in the water, which has become a symbol of the town. Roys Peak, with its zigzag track, and Mount Iron give views over the lake and the valley. The town has cafés, galleries and a nearby wine region.
