The Archeological Site represents the evidence of the Toltec Empire's presence in the Queretaro area, an empire that culturally influence the whole Meso-American region for hundreds of years before the arrival of the Aztecs. Hundreds of years before the Aztecs reign in central Mexico, another even wider empire was the centre of the Meso-American power and culture. The city of Chichen-Itza in Yucatan marked its southern influential border while, "El Cerrito" in Queretaro marked its border to the north. In this experience you'll know the archeological site, the local museum, understanding the temporal and geographical importance of this monument, the nation that built it, and the enormus influence of the Toltecs in the Aztec culture.
