The Archeological Site represents the evidence of the Toltec Empire's presence in the Queretaro area, an empire that culturally influence the whole Meso-American region for hundreds of years before the arrival of the Aztecs. You'll be able to understand the importance of the Toltec trade and cultural presence in the area, why and how we know about them, the work of the archeologist in the site, the presence and importance of the pyramid and the hacienda that owned it during the colonial times, and what happened to them during the 19 and 20th centuries.
