These distinctive conical formations are the outcome of ancient volcanic eruptions that occurred millions of years ago. Over countless ages, the combined forces of wind, rain, and other natural elements have eroded the volcanic rock, resulting in the formation of soft and pliable stone called tufa. Within these peculiar cones, often referred to as fairy chimneys, one can discover caves and intricate labyrinths.
