2. Explore the majestic 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site rich in history. Discover its stunning medieval frescoes and royal tombs, and hear the tragic legend of "The Right Hand of the Grand Master". On the cathedral's northern facade, you can still see a historic relief of a hand holding a square—a tribute to the architect Arsukisdze, whose right hand was cut off out of jealousy so he could never build anything more beautiful. This stop also includes a relaxed walking tour through the beautiful, narrow stone streets of old Mtskheta surrounding the cathedral.
