You will discover the great sphinx of Tanis, an opportunity to mention the strong links between Egypt and Paris. Then you will visit the department of Greek antiquities. It is one of the richest in the museum. You will see among others: the Venus de Milo and the Victory of Samothrace. Your guide will tell you some stories from mythology in the beautiful Caryatides room (old ballroom of the castle). In the Italian gallery (800 meter long) you will admire the masterpieces of the Italian masters: Mantegna, Raphael, Caravaggio, Veronese ... Of course you will also see the Mona Lisa by Leonard. In the French department, you will see large paintings such as the "Sacre de Napoleon" or "La Mort de Sardanapale". They are bigger than many appartments in Paris... About Paris

Paris pairs grand boulevards and riverside monuments with café terraces, art collections of global stature and neighbourhoods that feel like villages.

The Seine runs through the heart of the city, past the Île de la Cité with Notre-Dame and the Sainte-Chapelle, the long façade of the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay in its former railway station. Downriver, the Eiffel Tower rises over the Champ de Mars, and the Arc de Triomphe crowns the Champs-Élysées.
