1. South of Ibra stretch the magnificent Wahiba Sands (Ramlat al Wahiba; also known as the Sharqiya Sands) – “a perfect specimen of sand sea”, as they have been described. This is the desert as you’ve always imagined it. A huge, virtually uninhabited swathe of sand, with towering dunes, reaching almost 100m in places, sculpted by the wind into delicately moulded crests and hollows.

  We had an amazing experience as a family on this tour! From exploring Wadi Bani Khalid to the thrilling dune bashing and enjoying delicious traditional food, everything was perfectly organized. A special thanks to our host, Ghusun, who truly went above and beyond to make sure the entire experience was family-friendly. Traveling with a 6-year-old can sometimes be challenging, but he made sure our child was comfortable, safe, and included every step of the way. Highly recommend this tour for families looking for a memorable and well-cared-for adventure!

• 5Amazing trip with a great tour guide !

  Tahar was our tour guide for 2 days he was amazing to be with. He gave us a lot of information on all the places he took us to also he very easy to get along with. Made our trip a very memorable one. Would recommend him to anyone that wants to have a great time.
