Zelve Open Air Museum is a unique rock-cut complex near Göreme, famous for its ancient churches and monastic heritage. (pass by göreme old town and horse farms)
Uchisar is dominated by a 60 metre high 'castle' which is actually a rock formation visible over a wide distance. Uchisar was first mentioned in a 14th century chronicle by Aziz İbn Ardasir althouh the general area had been occupied from much earlier, perhaps from Hittite times.
Pasabag Valley, the home of Mushroom shaped fairy chimneys. Legend has it that the unique shapes were made by fairies who bulilt their underground hobes below the rocks - hence the name 'fairy chimneys' It is the one of the most beautiful outdoor tourist centers in Cappadocia

About Goreme
Göreme sits in the heart of Cappadocia, a surreal landscape of fairy chimneys, cave churches and dawn skies filled with hot-air balloons.
Göreme's houses and hotels are carved into soft volcanic rock, and the town is ringed by valleys of cone-shaped fairy chimneys shaped by erosion.
