1. Our first stop is going to be the decorative residential area around the Margaret bridge and the Danube bank. This is a less well-known area for foreign visitors, but just as beautiful as any other central district. We will drop in a tiny, cosy meeting place of local people to have some traditional craft products and of course, some elegant light Hungarian wines to start with.

2. In the first part of the our tour, you are going to have the chance for a sneak peak to the green heart of the city, our beloved island to escape.

5. We continue our stroll in the most classy district of the downtown, nearby our stunning Parliament building. Besides admiring some architectural beauties, we visit a cool and new wave wine bar to widen our experience in Hungarian wines with tasting two or three different characters.

6. We prefer to leave the two most famous Hungarian wines to the end in a cult wine bar. The reason why we would like to finish the tour in the Jewish quarter, because this is a lively neighborhood full of restaurants and bars. So if our guests fancy continuing exploring the Hungarian gastronomy, this is the best place to end up. Obviously we will leave you with some useful tips and recommendations how to move on.

About Budapest

Budapest joins hilly Buda and flat Pest across the Danube, a grand capital of thermal baths, riverside palaces and lively ruin bars.

On the Buda side, Castle Hill holds Buda Castle, the Matthias Church and the white turrets of Fishermen's Bastion, all looking down on the river. The Chain Bridge crosses to Pest, where the Hungarian Parliament Building stretches along the bank and St Stephen's Basilica rises a few streets inland. Gellért Hill and its Citadella give the widest views.
