見どころ
This tour offers an exploration of one of the Croatian prime center of culture and a hidden gem - Varazdin. Beautiful historic town Varazdin is situated in the Northern Croatian valley surrounded with the hills of Zagorje and the Drava river and its forests, only an hour drive from Zagreb, near the border with Hungary and Slovenia. Its history goes back to medieval times when it thrived as a merchant center. During the 18th century it was the capital of Croatia, and a popular center for nobility and aristocracy to exhibit luxury through their palaces and the popular architectural styles of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It is a town of gorgeous Central European architectural styles, reminiscent of charming Austrian towns. On this tour we will thoroughly explore the city center in order to truly feel and understand Varazdin, its history, but also its present. People are often enchanted by the beauty of Varazdin and are glad to have made the choice to have come and visit it.

About Zagreb
Zagreb is Croatia's capital, a city of two historic towns, cathedral spires, café-lined streets and green parks beneath Mount Medvednica.
Zagreb has two historic halves. The Upper Town, Gornji Grad, sits on a hill with cobbled lanes, the tiled-roof church of St Mark and the Lotrščak Tower, from which a cannon is fired at noon each day. Below, the Lower Town has Austro-Hungarian squares, theatres and museums around Ban Jelačić Square, with the twin neo-Gothic spires of the cathedral just east and a short funicular linking the two parts.
Top-ranked sights in Zagreb: Ban Jelačić Square (Trg Bana Jelačića), Gric Tunnel (Tunel Gric), Dolac Market.
